Well here I am sitting in the truck with my husband. He wanted me to see what his new route was like and was thinking about past ideas, thoughts, things i did when I was younger and thought to myself what were the things I wanted to be as a child was a mermaid. How weird the things you want to grow up to be when you are small.
Among the oddities of things I wanted to be were a Shamu trainer at Sea World, a dancer in the nutcracker, a rockette at Radio City Music Hall, a singer like Whitney Houston, in my time period, a Power Ranger, a ninja turtle, a princess like Cinderella, but without all the stepmother and step sister drama, and Barbie. I was born in the 80’s so maybe some can relate to why I wanted to be these things, of course I don’t want to anymore, but it’s fun to think what if.
Sio I want to know what others out there wanted to be when they were young, and if any of you are doing anything remotely close to what that was???
The closest I have gotten is going to Seaworld and looking at a trainer with Shamu!!!
Well I have been home now for 3 days here cleaning up our home. I have had a difficult time cleaning my office because I have so much paperwork and junk but I am just about done today.
I am extremely happy that the weather has been so great here I don’t miss the snow at all. I am also excited to try our community pool this weekend if the weather permits. I guess we will see what happens.
I found this on a forum I visit often and decided to post it on my blog.Enjoy!!!
Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.
Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes
Well we are back home finally after about a week and a half. This time I will be staying home while my husband drives since now he will take the position of a dedicated run. A dedicated run means that my husband will be running the same route every day and be home weekly. He will be running from Florida to Georgia everyday opposed to running all the East Coast we have been running. So now I can focus on continuing with my business ventures and hopefully go back to school. I am looking forward to all of this and hopefully for another beginning.
Well it’s currently 12:26 a.m. Eastern time and we are still in frikkin Texas. Texas is a very large state but alot where we wen through which was around I-35, I-30, and some other interstates that I can’t remember are not developed. You start seeing stores and any signs of life when you go to the big cities like San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and all those other huge cities. Most of Texas has many hispanic themed restaurants and cities which is no surprise if you have any idea what Texas is.
Texas had some nice focal points but not really somewhere I would like to live. I prefer Florida sunshine to Texas cactus. Which by the way I saw an actual cactus tree growing. Most of the time I see little trees in Home Depot, or I see them in movies but not an entire tree growing. I was going to take pictures but my camera doesn’t work at night I couldn’t take any.
Well we are still headed to Tennessee, which is one my favorites because of the breath-taking scenery and stores they have but still I think I will stay in Florida!!!
My stomach is still sore and achy from that virus or flu we had so I had some yougurt from Mcdonald’s so lets see if that helps!!
My husband and I have been sick lately with the stomach flu and I have been mostly on bed rest so that I can get better. I’v been feeling really qweezy, stomahc pains, not eating anything solid, and just been really weak. I will get back to writing hopefully tonight. We are currently in Texas and we are heading to Tennessee so hopefully I should be better by then. I’ll be writing soon!!!
Well our trip was to go from Georgia to Texas. Last night after 3 of our planned truckstops were filled to the capacity we drove around for about 1 hour looking for somewhere to park. After every attempt and no where else to go we decided to stop at a Walmart, where supposedly there was a truck stop since we saw it in the truck stop book. We drove and found nothing all that was left was a Walmart Supercenter.
We saw four other trucks parked so we didnt see too much of a harm. My husband of course took precautions since in last coming weeks we had received messages from the company of trailers being stolen. He went and unhooked the trailer, put on the landing, disconnected all the lines, and put a kingpin lock on the trailer. A kingpin lock is made of steel so its almost nearly impossible to break into the trailer. Where the doors are my husband is only required to have one lock, but he always has 3 so we didn’t even have to worry about that. Afterwards he parked almost on top of the trailer so no one could hook it up to anything.
We went to bed at around 2:00 a.m. well 1:00 a.m there central time. We awoke by 10:00 a.m to go shopping for some food and head out. Well when we went to Wendy’s we saw some graffiti on the trailer. When we inspected the truck we had seen there was some forced entry on the doors of the trailer but they did not succeed. Looks like maybe they used a crowbar or something similar to that. The locks were still there but some looked kinda tampered with.
My guess is they probably thought my husband had a high value load because of the 3 locks and not the typical one that you see and wanted to get an early Christmas gift. Well you didn’t haha too bad. You failed and I laugh so that you can learn your lesson. Don’t take anything that isn’t yours!!! I don’t know if they tried anything with the other trucks since they were gone when we awoke in the morning but we were lucky.
We did take pictures just in case we get the company on our back and I won’t post them because I don’t want to disclose where my husband works, but you can just take my word for it.
Fortunately nothing did happen to the trailer and of course more importantly nothing happened to us but I don’t think we are going to be stopping anywhere near Lousiana if we really don’t have to.
Well my husband took off a week to be able to move from Orlando Florida to Lakeland Florida. We rented a U-haul of 26′ feet to put all of our furniture and junk from our storage. We had all of our belongings in a 10×20 space and it was over crowded so we knew this wasnt going to be an easy task.
We picked up the U-haul at around 10:00 a.m and arrived at the storage at 11:00a.m after filling out all paperwork and holding our money hostage, you know just in case they need to buy a new truck. We started taking out all boxes in order to get the furniture in first. Well to make a long story short we finished loading at 7:00 p.m. During the process our wall unit where we put our television set and movies. So we are in search now of buying a new one.
After we arrived at the apartment to unload, we took a little break ate, and went to unloading. We finished unloading at around 2:00 a.m. Boy were we tired. My husband then went and drove back to Orlando and returned the U-haul. All in all moving is hard especially when there is 2 people and one is a girl and when you have heavy italian furniture makes it a little more troubling.
No more moving for me!!! Enough said…
Well after some planning and organizine my husband and I have moved back locally to Florida to the city ok Lakeland Florida. We were living before in Orlando and have decided for our future needs and what we are looking for in a community, we chose Lakeland. We have resided in a 2 bedroom apartment and will be here as my husband moves his job locally.
I won’t have as much as exciting new thing but will use my blog for other purposes. If you have an topics you would like me to cover let me know.
