The Daily life of a trucker’s wife!

Without trucks,the world stops!!

Bulldozer hit a bridge

Well we were traveling down I-95 in North Carolina when we were suddenly at a complete stop. We were in this traffic for about an hour when we pass and see a whole bunch of patrol cars and flashing lights. When we look we see a flatbed truck with a bulldozer but when we look closer we see that the whole top from the seat all the way up was ripped off. Apparently the bulldozer was to high for the bridge clearance, and when the truck passed under it it broke part of the bridge which in turn broke all the tubing or plumbing of the bridge and causing all of the water to come rushing down onto the highway below where this happened. This little boo-boo caused about a 5 mile delay on the highway and everyone on our side which was South bound stopped to look and be nosy and caused us a delay. Couldn’t take any pictures because it was just about dark and my crappy camera doesn’t take good pictures at night. Oh Well!
